Amazing fact: Within a 24-48 hour period the same amount of Information/Content is being produced that was once used over a decade’s worth of traditional marketing.  There are smart people producing amazing videos, inspiring white papers and give-give-give-away tips at record pace.
 
Wow, yeah.  I was blown away when I saw this statistic.
Here’s what you have to do with this information:
Make sure your marketing initiatives CUT through the noise.
Realize that traditional-thinking marketing agencies still operate this way, without factoring in this modern pace and cutting through it.  You have giant companies that don’t realize they are losing ground due because they haven’t got a modern grasp on how to GRAB ATTENTION in a world of noise.  And you also have the small ones that will fail because of this.
 
How does a business cut through the noise with their marketing?:
How do you get the ATTENTION with your broadcast to keep up and grow, at the modern pace?
Here are some ways:
 
1. Understand that data driven analytics programs purchased by marketing agencies don’t take years to see results.  Today’s technology gives a marketing agent an indication of results within the first 3 months.  I’m talking about on media buy services such as Google AdWords, Facebook Advertising, Retargeting, and other lead generating advertising.
So realize that if you’re marketing agency is telling you this, then they are living in the ‘decade of content use’ mind-set.
2. Write your advertising with the truly researched, compelling copy pinpointing the clients needs.
3. ​Taking Gary Vaynerchuk’s advise (Strategist we love)… Use the 51%- 49% rule- ‘Guilt Economics’.  This is the giving 51% percent of information about doing your business so the recipients’ (potential clients’) quilt instinct kicks in.  This is human urge to patronized based on the fact that you gave more than they did.
So remember, if your advertising doesn’t have some immediate reaction, you need to analyze the reporting and react, because the world is not a wait and see world anymore.  There is too much noise that you get buried.  The solution is to have modern, technology friendly marketers in the drivers seat.
