Yes Yahoo has made an arrangement with Mozilla Firefox to become their default search engine.
What these means is to business owners like us, is that all the ignoring that we have done to Yahoo in terms of how they rank our business is now something we have to address.
NOTE: Yahoo search data is provided by Bing, so you really want to target Bing, after getting Googler ranking. Here are a couple of blogs suggesting the difference in Bing ranking:
So how to proceed using this change:
1. Build links according to Google updates or Google guide lines for linking,use Google tips for building links of your website than move to Bing and Yahoo.
2. Make sure you register your website to Bing and have your marketing agency start using the Bing Webmaster Tools to get you indexing
3. Be aware and watch for sharing with new Yahoo places to place your profile.
4. Make sure you buy into Yahoo.com map places for the $89/3months before it goes up in cost. And submit your website to Yahoo.com for Indexing
